As always our local networks are meeting on a regular basis to share best practice and discuss key issues in the sector.
Our Waltham Forest Regional Network, which is always well attended, is meeting on Thursday, November 17 at 1:30pm at Dames House, 127 Dames Road, Forest Gate, E7 0DZ.

Our London Regional Network met in May and Emily Bird from the National Housing Federation (NHF) was a guest speaker.
She gave a presentation on the major issues for sheltered housing providers in relation to the change in approach and reduction in funding for housing support.
Emily discussed the current climate including cuts to housing related support, explaining how our sector can respond to Supporting People cuts and take residents with us and if there are other opportunities in the current that we need to exploit.
Emily also explained the scope of what the NHF is doing, including the Breaking the Mould project.
