The deadlines are looming for members to contribute to ERoSH’s response to two consultations on the Public Health White Paper and the Public Health Outcomes Framework.
ERoSH’s director of policy Rebecca Mollart is drafting responses to the draft papers and members can email her with their comments to be included in our response.
The deadline for the Public Health White Paper is March 8, and Public Health Outcomes Framework is March 31.
ERoSH has produced two policy briefings on the Public Health White Paper and the Public Health Outcomes Framework, which are now available from our website.
The first briefing summarises the key points in the White Paper Healthy lives, healthy people: our strategy for public health in England and some of the implications for housing related support for older people.
The second briefing summarises the Government’s proposals for a Public Health Outcomes framework, Healthy Lives, Healthy People: Transparency in Outcomes, which sets out plans for an outcomes framework for public health at national and local levels, and again looks at the implications for sheltered and retirement housing.
