At the beginning of 2012 erosh trustees set five key objectives. As the year begins to draw to a close, we thought we would take the opportunity to report to our members on our progress on achieving our objectives.

We have:
- Completed review and launched our new refreshed offer to members
- Introduced and launched our new corporate membership packages
- Held a successful annual Network Chairs Day.
We are currently:
- Finalising our marketing strategy
- Continuing to strengthen links between local networks and our executive committee.
Capture positive outcomes in the sector to influence housings contribution to health and care outcomes
We have:
- Continued to lobby and campaign at a national level by highlighting our members’ best practice and contributed to articles in the national press
- Given presentations and held workshops at the CIH Older People’s Housing and Support Conference
- Supported an erosh campaign to successfully influence change in county wide policy direction.
We are currently:
- Speaking to local shadow health and wellbeing boards
- Continuing to request examples of best practice from our members to show the difference they are making.
Lead a successful awards campaign
We have:
- Developed and launched our first ever awards to celebrate and recognise innovation and good practice in our sector
- Secured opportunities for erosh speakers at national conferences.
We are currently:
- Continuing in our search to identify and secure a patron (big thank you for all your suggestions)
- Finalising details of the awards ceremony
- Looking forward to receiving members entries as we head towards the closing date of the December 10.
Adopt a more strategic approach to partnership work
We have:
- Strengthened our existing partnership with Digital Unite and developed a great new relationship with HouseMark.
We are currently:
- Completing the second stage of our review of our trustees’ roles and officers’ responsibilities
- Exploring opportunities to partner with new organisations to strengthen our offer to members even further.
Strengthen our financial position
We have:
- Continued to increase our membership base
- Continued to review the way we do things to ensure we are achieving value for money
- Identified and continued to manage financial risks.
