Partnership promotes personalisation

A new sector-wide partnership has launched to represent personalisation and personal budgets in adult social care.

Think Local, Act Personal is made up of more than 30 national and umbrella organisations representing organisations with a broad range of interests in personalisation and community-based support.

The Think Local, Act Personal Partnership will fund a limited number of projects and a small central delivery team; and will be hosted by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE).

The partnership’s six priority areas are:

  • Personalisation and personal budgets
  • Developing cost-effective and efficient solutions
  • Developing the provider market and workforce
  • Building community capacity
  • Improving information to the public
  • Highlighting the importance of co-production.

It will meet four times a year and will look to host an annual event open to all interested in the sector.
