Two senior housing figures are taking up new positions at the Chartered Institute of Housing.
Karen Doran and Domini Gunn will join the Institute as director of housing services and director of public health and vulnerable communities respectively.
Ms Doran moves to the CIH from her current role as lead adviser on affordable housing funding at the Council of Mortgage Lenders this week, while Ms Gunn will leave her position as national lead for vulnerable communities at the Audit Commission before joining the institute in April.
Sarah Webb, chief executive at CIH, said: “It has been incredibly important to CIH that we have been able to secure appointments of this calibre in order to help organisations respond to the rapidly changing policy environment.
“CIH has worked hard in recent years to focus our resources on front line services. Our continuing investment in great people recognises the tough times that our own customers are experiencing and reflects our commitment to helping them achieve the highest possible standards in all they do.”
