DESCRIPTION:Wales has the highest proportion of older people compared to the rest of the UK. Whilst fortunate in many ways\, with older people contributing massively to the economy and their local communities through sharing skills and expertise there can be no doubt that considerable challenges lie ahead in providing high quality\, sustainable housing\, care and support. \nThe mounting pressure on health and social care services\, increases in people living with multiple co-morbidities and sector specific challenges like the application of the Local Housing Allowance rate to social homes from 2019 all combine to question how we continue to meet demand\, enhance affordability and increase quality. \nThis year’s Older People’s Housing Conference in partnership with erosh will once again see a range of expert speakers look at these pressing issues and consider the future beyond the horizon. \nWho should attend\nAnyone who works to deliver housing and related support services to older people.
